This Privacy Policy explains how PowerCart, a solution operated by PERFORMA AI LTDA, processes personal data in the context of cart recovery, abandoned product recovery, incomplete checkout, communication automation, retargeting, remarketing, notifications and consumer relationship journeys.
1. Roles and responsibility
When processing occurs on behalf of a contracting store, the store is normally the data controller and PowerCart acts as processor, following the store’s documented instructions.
The store is responsible for informing consumers about its use of PowerCart, maintaining an appropriate legal basis and obtaining consents, authorizations or opt-ins when required.
2. Data we may process
- contact data such as name, email, phone number and communication identifiers;
- browsing, cart, product, checkout, order and interaction events;
- message delivery, opening, click, reply, opt-out and conversion events;
- technical data such as IP address, device, browser, identifiers, cookies and logs;
- store, campaign, product, catalog, integration, billing, support and account data.
3. Purposes
- identify purchase intent, abandoned carts, abandoned products and incomplete checkouts;
- send recovery, reminder, relationship and support communications;
- operate dashboards, reports, attribution and performance metrics;
- configure integrations, templates, channels and campaigns;
- provide support, security, billing, fraud prevention, audit and legal compliance.
4. Legal bases and opt-out
The applicable legal basis depends on the store’s operation, consumer relationship, channel used, jurisdiction and documented instructions. Stores must define and document the appropriate basis for each communication.
Consumers may opt out, unsubscribe, block communications or manage preferences through the mechanisms included in messages or through the store’s support channels.
5. Sharing and third parties
PowerCart may use ecommerce platforms, hosting and cloud providers, email, WhatsApp, SMS and push providers, analytics tools, payment, security and support services, always according to the purpose of operating the platform.
Third-party stores, payment environments, social networks, apps and services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not apply to third-party environments.
6. Retention and security
Data is retained for the time necessary to provide the service, comply with contracts and legal obligations, preserve security, support audits, resolve disputes and defend rights.
PowerCart uses technical and organizational safeguards such as access controls, encryption, logging, minimization, masking, aggregation and isolation of customer data. No system is entirely risk-free.
7. Data subject rights
Consumers should preferably contact the store with which they have a relationship, because the store is usually the controller of purchase, registration, order, support, communication and relationship data.
